Hello Winter, Nice to see you again.

Wednesday, November 16, 2005

It's that time of year again. The time that makes those of us in the north relearn how much we appreciate nice weather. Why is that you ask? Well it's a bit chilly and a bit white.

Stop on over to the Visual Edition for a few pictures! Also mosey down the page for Wistward Ho! below.

Oohhh snow...pretty! I don't get to see too much of it here unless in the dead of winter I drive an hour to the Blue Ridge Parkway. THEN I can see some snow.

I never saw snow growing up at all unless we went somewhere on vacation in the winter. Might have had something to do with being raised in Florida, but I'm not sure ;)

I like the beauty of winter, but mainly from inside of my house. I'd rather be outside the rest of the year. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm in the wrong part of the country to hate the cold the way I do.

We get snow once every decade...and we already got it this decade (2002).
Sadness...I wouldn't want it like you guys have it, though.
Maybe once a year...or once a winter month...just not every day.

We got snow as well. Not as much as you, but still, two nights ago I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt during my evening stroll.

It was nice and warm in NY until Wednesday night. We've now reached November temps. Honestly, if it's going to be cold I'd rather it snowed. Then maybe I could go skiing...

Boooo. Snow. I know that's practically blasphemy, since I live in CO, but when your commute on a normal day is 45 minutes each way, well, snow is not something I like.

Marie - Yeah, it's totally pretty until you need to drive on it ;O) And you should come visit sometime and see it in person.

Miss 'Tude - Seriously, is this like a once a week occurence or what? ;O)

Miss 'Tude - Way to keep slacking! Keep it up and you might be promoted to Deputy!

Kira - Ahh yeah, snow in florida is like hell freezing over. heh. We get to see snow quite frequently here. Last year it was pretty slim until Jan but this year looks better.

Pieces - Wuss! You jsut need a guy to snuggle with and cold weather won't seem that bad ;O)

Anisa - Psuedo winter? Eh? It's like 60 there ya wuss ;O)

OzzyC - I dont mind being out in it a while, snowball fights rock. Though driving on it is not so fun.

nicholas - Well, the snow hasn't ben too bad the last couple years, more on the bitter cold side than snowy. It's supposed to be a "mild" winter, so for us taht usually means less cold, but more snow.

Miss 'Tude - Somebody eh? Any certain someone or just some random person you stop on the street? that would be funny!

Delmer - yeah same here, last week it was 60, now it's ssnowy, It's supposed to be nice and get back into the 40s this weekend though.

Esther - Eh, the snow will come in time, jsut wait till the winter storms kick up over the great lakes and busy y'all again.

Amber - yeah I have a 30 min commute, not looking forward to the mronings it snows. that and cleaning off the car...

Cheryl - It was white, but it's up to 40 today so it's all going by by fast. Supposed to snow next week though so it MIght be white again for turkey day.
