New Outpost & New Look
Saturday, August 13, 2005Hello and welcome to my first weekend post. Well, actually I guess My second, I think I did make one a while back, but ANYWAY. Welcome.
The Bureau of Slacking has a new outpost. I am coming to you now from an old, yet comfy chaise lounge in Nina's Coffee Cafe, hereby known as Slackpost One. SP1 is a nice lazy two blocks from Slacker HQ and has the wondrous technology of WiFi. No I have an new reason to not actually get anything productive done on weekends :O)
Anyway, still don't know for sure what's going on for the weekend, but I do know one thing: My face feels funny. Yes, The Chief has a new streamlined look that he hasn't had in many moons. My chin is definitely not used to being able to breathe freely...
As soon as hotmail ever finally receives the pictures from my phone, I'll post the before and afters ;O)
Anyway, hope you all are having a good weekend!
EDIT - It's ben over 6 hours now, and the pictures still haven't shown up in my mailbox... stupid. Hopefully they'll show up soon. I really need ot just buy the data cable so I can download them directly! Anyway, off to a house-warming party and a second party at a coworkers place with a few bands!
EDIT2 - I Finally got the pictures downloaded, Hotmail never did deliver them... anyway, here are the pictures I promised, this is the first time my chin has seen the light of day in about 4 maybe 5 years. Very few people I know right now have seen me without a goatee. It's a nice change, I think it'll stick aorund a while. Enjoy!

I'm having a slack weekend. That's good, right? Lots of sleep and lots of food, interspersed by alcohol intake *nods* It's my last weekend free before I start up teaching fall term, so hell, I'm just slackin' slackin' slackin'!
It's great that you have net access so close to your home. I live in a small town, and so I'd have to drive into Greenville if I wanted a net cafe. Comfy chairs there I hope? Good snacks and drinks? :) -

Hey there! It's good to see you around on a Saturday. :) I'm still in town...I go to Palm Springs next weekend. So I'm slacking today...drinking my coffee...just finished taking a nice long shower and am blogging in a towel. hehe

You know, I have just realised, Slacker, that you are one almighty procrastinator.

I am back to blogging! And WOW!!! You have been busy. I will never be able to keep up with this. You are definately not living up to your name, blogwise. We should trade, cuz I don't know if I'll be making three posts a week from here on out. But I will be posting.

Kira - Way to be girly! Keep it up, hope the last weekend of freedom for a while was good! It's a nice place! Short walk and good atmosphere. This is a reason I like living in larger cities.

FINY - Thanks! And Because I knew you' and Amy would read it and right now with their mediorcre record and their long shot of making the playoffs, beating a good team like Boston 12-0 is a major highlight ;O)
Gimpy - yeah i like the way I look with it, but decided it was time for a change.
